Improv Piecing: Ellsworth Kelly Style
In this class, we’ll practice designing a block using controlled improvisational piecing. Designed for quilters new to improv techniques, we’ll use guidelines rather than measured cutting to create our block, inspired by paintings by artist Ellsworth Kelly.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Experienced Beginner. You’ve taken Quilting I and II.
- We provide: The pattern, studio space, tools, and expertise.
- You bring: yourself, 4 fat quarters of fabric in contrasting colors. Don't forget we offer 15% off all materials for any of our workshops.
