Market Tote Bag

Interfaced fabric straps, fusible fleece to cushion your precious farmers market finds, and a lining make this not only a functional but well-designed bag. A great project after Sewing Basics and Sewing II, you'll gain confidence with rotary cutting, maintaining seam allowance, boxing corners, and top-stitching.

Level: adventurous beginner - a great follow-up to a sewing basics (which is a prerequisite to this workshop) and Sewing II (zipper box bag)! You must know how to operate a sewing machine and understand the concept of topstitching.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• We provide:  pattern, tools, expertise, and machines!
• You bring:  yourself, a 1/2 yard main body fabric (medium weight cotton or cotton/linen blend), 3/4 yard contrast exterior fabric and straps, 3/4 yard lining fabric, 3/4 yard Fusible Fleece, 1/2 yard Shape-Flex interfacing, & your sense of adventure
• Class length: 4 hours
