Rift Tee (knitting) - 3 sessions

Rift Tee (knitting) - 3 sessions

Inspired by Kate of Kelbourne Woolens, we wanted to cast on our own Rift Tee in Mojave. This lightweight, bottom-up knit includes instructions for two necklines, optional bust darts, short or long sleeves, and a custom fit bicep. The design features a slightly cropped body and a split high-low hem in twisted rib, giving it enough detailing to be interesting while maintaining a timeless simplicity. Jacqueline Cieslak's pattern provides a bounty of possibilities.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
  • Level: advanced beginner/intermediate - you've knit a scarf and a hat. You know your knits from your purls. You are ready to make something substantial!
  • We provide:  the expertise and support.
  • You bring:  yourself, your gauge swatch, a copy of the pattern (available on Ravelry), dk/sport weight yarn (enough yarn based on your bust measurement, this is NOT your bra size) and needles appropriate to achieve gauge (Recommended needles: one US 8 (5 mm) 32” (sizes 34-46) or 40” (sizes 50-66) circular; DPNs for sleeves if not using magic loop, stitch markers, darning needle, extra needle in similar size or smaller than project needle for 3-needle bind-off.
  • Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session.
Please knit a gauge swatch prior to our first meeting.

Class meets on Mondays, June 12, 26 & July 10 at 6 PM.
