Swirly Curves Patchwork Block
Are you ready to try sewing curves? Take your quilt pieces outside of the straight line, and learn how to sew a Quarter circle piece, or Drunkard’s Path unit. We’ll be putting together a few curved pieces to create a swirling design, with a bonus skill of partial pieced seams! You’ll finish with a 12” square block and the confidence to take on the curve!
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Adventurous Beginner. You know how to thread a machine, can sew a straight(ish) line, and are comfortable using a rotary cutter.
- We provide: the pattern (by Laura Glass), studio space, sewing machines, tools, and expertise.
- You bring: 4 fat quarters of coordinating fabrics; we offer 15% off materials purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours
