Chicago Jacket Pattern

Chicago is a children's jacket pattern featuring cutouts, a collar, and folded seams. Two types of pockets are available: chest and side pockets. The sleeves are finished with a slit and buttoned cuffs.

Skill Level: Intermediate / Advanced

What you will learn with this pattern: making folded seams, assembling a collar, sewing a sleeve slit, adding cuff and bottom bands.

Age range: 3-12 years

Suggested Materials:

• Jeans, gabardine, canvas, corduroy, linen, jacquard, fine quilted fabric.
• Poplin for the pocket lining.

Additional Supplies:

• Jeans buttons (or press studs, or classic buttons).
• Iron-on adhesive.
• Denim thread for the upper spool.
